The untimely death of talented actor Sushant Singh Rajput has reignited the nepotism debate and favouritism. While the interrogation is still on, netizens took no qualms in crying foul on star kids through various social media platforms.
Though many actors like Sonam Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha came out about social media abuse after Sushant’s demise, many tend to ignore the flare.
Actress Alia Bhatt, the daughter of director Mahesh Bhatt is one amongst the celebrities who refused to respond on the on-going issue while she chose to disable the comments section. However, netizens didn’t spare the trailer of recent movie ‘Sadak-2’ which was helmed by her father Mahesh Bhatt.
Crossing 1 Million Dislikes on YouTube, ‘Sadak-2’ trailer is en route to becoming the second-most disliked video on the video-sharing platform. The disgruntled fans took over to the video-sharing platform, downvoting the movie trailer more than 11 million times in a span of a week.
Not yet done, the pattern remained the same for the track ‘Tum Se Hi’ from ‘Sadak-2’ on India’s 74th Independence Day. According to the industry analysts, this flare is not of a kind that would end anytime soon, as the makers are contemplating on postponing the song launches and movie’s digital releases of the star kids.
In the wake of which, rumours floated that Rajamouli would replace Alia in his upcoming film ‘RRR’. However, sources close to Jakkanna claimed that he is not in a mood to heed to the negativity on the internet.
