Anchor Ravi’s eviction from the ongoing Bigg Boss Telugu Season-5 has not only left the housemates but also the audience in shock. RJ Kajal and Anchor Ravi were the two contestants in the danger zone. Sunny’s eviction pass which he earned a few weeks back went in vain as he used it to save Kajal but it was Ravi who was announced to be lagging in votes through a pot-breaking task.
While Ravi accepted the eviction that he haven’t got enough votes, the angry fans took to social media to condemn the eviction. Many posted that it was unfair as contestants like Priyanka, Kajal, and Siri made it through. Reports also speculated remuneration as the reason behind sudden eviction.
Rumors have it that says that Ravi signed the season to be paid almost 6-7 lakhs per week. With him there for almost 11 weeks, the remuneration reportedly touched nearly ₹ 75 lakhs which is more than what four other housemates together will be paid. Organisers, on the other hand, supported the elimination claiming that the elimination is clearly based on votings.
