The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a charge sheet in the Popular Front of India (PFI) case. The NIA has included a total of 11 names in the charge sheet. In this case, NIA conducted inspections in Nizamabad and Hyderabad and identified the accused.
NIA has identified 25 people and collected statements from them. The charge sheet states that cases have been registered against several people for organizing terrorist training camps and recruiting people for PFI terrorist activities.
In July, it was discovered that a conspiracy to carry out communal attacks in the name of PFI in Nizamabad. NIA sources said that the investigation revealed that the accused were inducing innocent Muslim youth to turn towards terrorism in the name of training.
They said that they were turning them towards terrorism by making speeches and propaganda against the Government of India. Later it was revealed that they were being given intense training in the name of yoga training classes and physical education.
