Minister of State for Municipal and IT, KTR has inaugurated the Bhumipujafirst Industrial WEM project in Nimz in Zaheerabad constituency of Sangareddy district. However, landless people and farmers who have lost their lands have expressed serious concern. Residents of Mamidigi, Elgoi, Bardipur, and Metalakunta lands have raised concerns.
Landlords displayed placards protesting the arrival of KTR to lay the foundation stone for the construction of Wem Technology Private Defense Company in Nimz. They allege that the government is neglecting to clarify the issue of Nimz compensation.
Bhumipuja has held for Wem Technologies Pvt Ltd on 550 acres with an investment of Rs 1,000 crore in the Nimz project. Prior to this, the villages of Elgoi, Bardipur, Chilipalli, Mungi, Mungi Tanda, Hadnur, Reginal, Molkalapadu, Mirzapur, (n) Malkapur, Gunjati, Rukmapur Tanda, Ramatirtha, etc. the farmers of the villages in the Nal Kal zone were arrested and forcefully by the police and moved to the station.
Meanwhile, hotels, grocery shops, and even police in the respective villages were closed. From Zaheerabad to Machunnur, Bardipur Cross Road to Nimz, the police conducted checks at every step. Farmers are not even allowed to go to the farms. Farmers and villagers protesting at Gangwar were charged with canes.
