Hours after the RTC JAC leaders came down to call off the indefinite employees strike, the issue now seems to take an interesting turn with Telangana BJP MPs meeting Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways on Thursday. The leaders who got the appointment of the minister reached the Nation’s capital and urged the latter to look into the RTC issue which is shaking the state. Telangana MPs Bandi Sanjay, Dharmapuri Aravind and Soyam Bapurao met Nitin Gadkari alongside the Minister of State for Home Affairs Kishan Reddy.
The leaders reportedly explained the scenarios in the state followed by the strike called by the RTC employees. According to the sources, Gadkari has given the leaders a strong assurance of ending the strike as soon as possible. It has come to the notice that, the union minister alone with Kishan Reddy has promised the MPs to hold talks with Telangana Chief Minister KCR. Capital corridors are rife with the speculations that Nitin is about to take a strong stand against the state government.
