It is indeed a treat for Icon Star Allu Arjun fans who are celebrating the most-awaited ‘Pushpa’ release day. While the movie hit the theatres today in five different languages, benefit shows, and show timings turned a hurdle for the theatre owners.
Despite the G.O restricting the benefit show is in force, many theatre owners have screened benefit shows. Tensions ran high in Hindupur, Anantapur district as fans hurled stones at Balaji Theater which canceled the benefit show after selling tickets.
Fans alleged that the theatre owners charged Rs 500 each for the benefit show but canceled it claiming government norms. The situation was brought under control by local police.
