After a hiatus of no job notifications, and not even the results of the exams that had already taken place, the Chief Minister of Telangana KCR all of a sudden stormed the state with over 90,000 job vacancies. BJP state president Bandi Sanjay was indignant that the Chief Minister was leading a comfortable life while the unemployed are starving. Bandi firmly declared that he will not let go of KCR and never stop fighting until all the 1.91 lakhs jobs are fulfilled as per the Bishwal committee report.
He said he would not tolerate postponement of replacement on court cases and other grounds. Questioning the sincerity of KCR’s announcement regarding the job vacancies, the BJP leaders demanded KCR to declare that his party TRS will not go to the polls till the recruitment process is completed. Bandi also responded to KCR’s sleek blame on the center for the delay in the job placements and the new zonal policy. He warned KCR to keep his mouth under control and speak. He added that KCR hasn’t responded to the issuance of the President’s order regarding the new zonal system even after 40 months, but shamelessly blaming the center for his mistakes too.
Talking about the announcement, Bandi said that the unemployed brothers and sisters of Telangana have been waiting for 8 years for job notifications and he is finally glad about the decision. On the other hand, he said that the CM must be held accountable for the hundreds of people who had committed suicide and died out of frustration at not getting jobs anymore after not getting any job opportunities in the state. He went on to say that the announcement of these jobs is a victory for the BJP, adding that BJP struggled for the job notifications, the activists in the party got beaten by the police and even got arrested many times.
Bandi recalled that he had already announced that a ‘Million March’ would be organized in Hyderabad along with the unemployed if job vacancies were not announced in the Assembly sessions. ” The ‘Million March’ arrangements were almost complete. Millions of unemployed youth were ready to come to Hyderabad. KCR got to know about this through intelligence and understood that young men and women are beyond control now, and they will definitely attack the government if the notifications aren’t released. To calm down people, KCR made this subtle move of announcing the job vacancies. But he must remember that hundreds of youth lost their lives in the span of 8 years, all because of him,” said Bandi.
“Dear KCR, do you think of yourself as the only chief minister who is employing the youth at this scale. Do you know Assam? The BJP party has created lakhs of jobs in a single year of coming to power. Do you know how big Assam is? as big as one of our districts in Telangana. If a state that small can have one lakh jobs in a single year, imagine how many jobs you are supposed to provide for the youth. In the whole 8 years, all you had accomplished is declaring just the 90,000 jobs that too including the contract-based and permanent ones. Back in 2014, you said in the assembly that you will provide 1.7 lakh jobs in the year 2014 itself. Earlier, you also had said that this work would be done very soon. Two years ago, the Bishwal Committee appointed by you declared that there were 1.91 lakh vacancies in the state. So, all in all, you are filling only 91,000 vacancies in the state? Will the remaining lakh remain unemployed?” said Bandi targeting KCR.
Sanjay was incensed that KCR had spent 8 years without announcing any job vacancies in Telangana. He stated that the sole purpose of accomplishing separate Telangana was for sufficient water, funds, and employment opportunities, adding that KCR now woke up and declared the job vacancies only to win peoples’ hearts at this point in time as elections are approaching. Bandi also bashed KCR for consistently blaming the center on the delay in making job announcements when the presidential orders on the new zonal system were given to him in the year 2018 itself. He firmly questioned KCR’s ignorance throughout the 40 months since the issuance of orders from the center. Bandi also criticized the Kamalanathan Committee report in 2016 which was continuously delayed. “He made it a job to discredit the Center from time to time for his own mistakes and incompetent governance,” said Bandi.
Further discussing the dire condition in the state, Bandi slammed the incompetent GO 317 that suffocated the employees in the state on a personal level. “With no iota of words about the employment in Telangana, you all of a sudden disclosed the news about filling 90,000 jobs in the state. You have given a show as if you are doing a great favor to the people of the state. Because of you, hundreds of unemployed youth lost their lives. Many families have been ripped apart. You never respected the orders given by the center, never even followed any regulations, and behaved as if you are above everything in the law and order. There were times when you made comments like “regularization of contract-based employees in the state”, but nothing has been done so far. In the last 8 years of your tenure, all you managed to do is manipulate people, harass the employed, and deceive people all at once by making grand announcements. Everybody knows that the basic intention behind this deed is to attract people to vote for you in the upcoming elections. If you had good intentions, you would have declared this earlier. I challenge you to complete the recruitment process before the elections,” said Bandi Sanjay.
Bandi further opined, “Group-2 jobs were announced and it took three years to fill them. The notification for the Pharmacists was given in 2017-18, and the result isn’t out. Why did it take 4 years for you to even respond? However, implement this statement honestly. Error-free notification should be made. Refill the vacancies in the courts without delay. We will not take the credit for that. Irrespective of the struggles and taking credit our priority is to see the job vacancies filled. We will not stop fighting until the1.91 lakh jobs in the state, according to the Bishwal Committee report are filled. Our demands for the welfare of the people also include the paid unemployment benefits, with arrears.”
