COVID lockdown has come as an unexpected shock for the film fraternity with shootings stalled and theaters shut. The government easing the norms breathed life into the industry especially Tollywood which queued up a roll of hugh budgetted films.
While a few production houses announced releases in August and September, the AP government-ticket pricing issue came as a major setback owing to which the industry is going to witness a movie marathon in October.
Sai Tej’s ‘Republic’ is the first to hit the marque in October while his brother Vaishnav Tej’s ‘Kondapolem’ will also have an October release. The upcoming month will also house the release of Akhil’s ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’ which will be released on October 15th.
Roshan’s ‘Pelli SandaD’ as well is also getting ready for the release on the same day. Naga Shaurya’s ‘Varudu Kaavalenu’, on the other hand, gearing up for October 22nd release. Rounding off, the month is also packed with a few other small budget films bring in Tollywood bonanza for the cinephiles.
