Amidst the poll heat ways in the state political circles, the ruling TRS-led Telangana government will hold Telangana assembly sessions from September 24th. While the Election Commission(EC) postponed the Huzurabad by-polls given the COVID situations, the KCR and team are reportedly looking forward to holding assembly sessions as soon as possible.
TRS sources confirmed that KCR, who is facing a serve backlash over the Saidabad rape and murder case is keen on this session to hold crucial discussions. Trusted sources also revealed that the government wants to have a full-fledged discussion on the Dalit Bandhu scheme.
As speculated, despite the party leaders skeptical over holding the sessions from September 17th, it was learned that it was a deliberate move to hold sessions after the liberation day to avoid unnecessary traction. The cabinet meeting will be held on September 16 at 2 pm at Pragati Bhavan which will discuss the assembly sessions.
