The new strain which is believed to be highly transmissible and resistant to vaccines has been trembling India as well with the festive season right around. Amidst this, the name of Anandayya from Nellore once again became a topic of discussion. While his medicine was believed to cure many during the peaks of corona infections, the Ayurveda practitioner now claims to have a cure for the Omicron variant of COVID infection.
With this, his residence in Krishnapatnam again flooded with people seeking medicine against the Omicron variant. However, the Ayurveda practitioner faced an unexpected jolt from the panchayat which unanimously decided to ban the sale citing the spread of COVID in queue lines. Followed by which Nellore medical officials as well raised concerns over the permissions for the distribution of the medicine.
