The TDP leaders were seen with a weighing scale, with gold on one side and onions on the other. However, the leaders who tried to barge into the assembly premises were stopped by the police which triggered a verbal attack. “The tall claims of government subsidised onions aren’t reaching people. Women are standing for hours to get a kilo of onions. We demand the government to regulate the prices and ensure that onions are available at a cheaper price,” Lokesh said in a tweet on Monday.
