Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan reacted to the death of the TSRTC driver Srinivas Reddy who attempted suicide by setting himself ablaze late on Saturday afternoon. Reddy, who was shifted to DRDO Apollo Hospital yesterday, succumbed to 90% burn injuries. Responding to this incident, the actor-turned-politician took to his official Twitter account to express his grief over the death of an innocent RTC employee. In a press note released, the party chief stated that the incident moved his heart and left him in deep pain. He then urged the Telangana government and public servants to deal the issue with empathy rather pushing the employees into extreme conditions. ‘It’s painful to see the death of TRTC employee ‘Srinivas reddy’ by self- immolation. TS-Government should not have pushed employees to get into such extreme form of protest for their demanåds. I request Govt to put an end to this,” read his tweet. On the other hand, Janasena Telangana unit has extended its support to the employee unions and stated that they would join the protest at Indira Park.
