“Is it because of my three marriages that you were in jail for two years?”, asked the JanaSena Chief Pawan Kalyan, responding to Chief Minister Jagan’s personal-life comments on Monday. Addressing the media today, the actor-turned-politician lashed out on the ruling party for the ugly political discourse dragging his marital life into politics. He questioned the YSRCP leaders of why they have to point out at his three marriages whenever he criticises the government. “Why is the CM so disappointed about my marriages? You too get married, who is stopping you?” said Pawan.
Pawan shot back asking if it was because of his three marriages that YSRCP’s minister Viayasai Reddy started suitcase companies and went to jail. “Our culture has taught us to respect women and in return to the criticism on your governance, we expect back healthy criticism, not a personal attacks. Our party wants to know on what scale are the employed teachers ready to embrace the change in medium. Nobody is against teaching English to kids. But there should be a proper plan and method behind its implementation,” he added.
