Haridwar: Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan made a visit to Mathri Sadan Ashram in Haridwar on Thursday. He also participated in the Ganga Harathi event along with ashram Guruji Swamy Sivananda Maharaj and Water Man Rajendra Singh. Ramon Magsaysay Award recipient Rajendra Singh, better known as the ‘Water Man of India’ met Pawan Kalyan in Hyderabad and has invited him to the first death anniversary program of Professor G. D. Aggarwal, who lost his life fighting for a clean Ganga.
Despite the severe ailment for which he is being treated, Pawan flew to Dehradun, Uttarakhand from where he reached to Matri Sadan Ashram in Haridwar by road. Ashram Guruji Swamy Sivananda Maharaj and Water Man Rajendra Singh welcomed Pawan Kalyan and wrapped the traditional turban on the latter. They discussed how industries are polluting the sacred Ganges. Later, Pawan assured them that he would support them in the fight for a noble cause.
