The GO 317 has become one of the critical issues in Telangana state today. BJP Hyderabad Central District President Dr. N.S. Gautam Rao demanded an immediate abolition of the G.O. While speaking at the media conference organized at the BJP office, he affirmed that the people of Telangana are now quite tired of KCR’s inefficiency in running the democracy. He added that people are currently ready to immediately oust KCR from his position, in fact from the state itself. He recalled that the BJP had supported the formation of a separate Telangana state based on the wishes and aspirations of the people of the state.
Gautam Rao opined that the state government is publicly calling out the people of the state to burn the effigies of Prime Minister Modi only to divert the attention from the state’s actual problems. He commented that the behavior of KCR and his government is quite notorious and reckless. Reminded that with the Kakinada resolution, the BJP became the first party in history to take a political decision on Telangana state formation.
He also posed a question: Was Telangana state formed without BJP support? Incensed minister Niranjan Reddy stated that one should speak about history only after learning about it. Niranjan added that KCR forgot the sacrifices of the valuable lives of youth and is bringing shame to the souls of martyrs who lost their lives in the process of accomplishing separate Telangana.
Niranjan opined that the Congress party is currently a sinking ship in the country, and that is why people are rejecting the party. He further stated that it will be next to impossible for Congress to get back into power in either state or center. Meanwhile, Gautam Rao concluded that BJP will definitely come to power in Telangana in coming years,
