TPCC president Revanth Reddy has lashed out at the central and state governments for exploiting the people. “If the Center raises petrol prices, the state will increase electricity tariffs. Over and over one keeps blaming the other for any wrong. Stop desperately trying to cover up the wrong,” he fired at the governments, calling them the pickpockets who barely care about helping the poor.
He blamed the TRS government for the problems of the farmers. He accused both governments of ignoring the needs of people and robbing them of their deserved wealth from the state funds and resources. He blamed the government’s policy for the economic damage to power companies. He explained that Rs 12,500 crore was due because of the non-payment of bills on time.
Revanth demanded an immediate reduction in inflated petrol and cooking gas prices. He said that he will put garlands on the cylinders on the 31st of this month in protest, declaring another protest in front of the AE and DE offices in the zonal centers, against the hike in electricity charges. Revanth clarified that protest rallies will be held on April 4 in the zonal centers. Revanth further mentioned that the effigies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister KCR will be burnt.
