A social media post by a man aimed at TRS leaders has angered the party leaders. As a result of that, the man is now unable to walk. Wondering how that happened? We are very much aware of the situation in Telangana state. The police are nowadays the first people to react when someone offends a TRS leader. No matter who it is, whoever posts or shares something about the TRS party gets bashed by the police.
Getting into details, the Kurma clan celebrated the Bhiranna Patna festival in the village of Rukmapur in the Choppadandi zone. Local TRS leaders were invited to the event. Several leaders, including the TRS zone president, attended. Had a non-veg meal. Photos were taken at the time. A photo of it was posted by a man named Tonti Pawan Kumar on a WhatsApp group called TRS Chopdandi Constituency and commented on it, “The dog that desires a bone has arrived”.
The zonal president, who was upset with Pawan’s post, lodged a complaint with the police. They said in the complaint that they do not know to whom the post was addressed and that there were many people there, which could lead to group clashes. They urged the police to take appropriate action against him.
After that, the police immediately took the task and thrashed Pawan with lathis. They eventually hit him so bad that he is unable to walk now.
The TRS ranks are incensed at him for posting on social media against them, which they believe is specifically targeted at the MLA. The victim says that the police agreed to release him only if the MLA says so. He cried out saying that he was brutally beaten at the station.
