24 hours after the residents of Hyderabad’s Peerzadiguda area held a unique protest against the bad roads in their area, the municipal authorities reacted which came as a sign of relief. However, the official came up with a temporary solution by filling up the potholes rather paving a new road.
The residents who struggled to pass the roads another day were surprised with the overnight reaction from the officials. While a few of the locals took to social media to share before and after pictures of the roads, a few have thanked the municipal corporation and media for helping them solve the issue as soon as possible.
The locals of Peerzadiguda area who were vexed with the municipal authorities gathered to plant saplings in the potholes on roads in their area. The incident came to limelight through social media which caught the attention of authorities who temporarily solved the issue. The road from Peerzadiguda Kamman to Boddupal has around three schools that collectively have nearly 3,000 students. Few of the commuters including school going kids met with frequent accidents which pushed the locals to take it to the notice of municipal corporation.
