All thanks to ‘Bahubali’ Prabhas is no longer a Tollywood or South-Indian actor but an international celebrity. While his next ‘Sahoo’ stood as a dud at the box office in Telugu, the film helped him bridge the gap with Bollywood audience.
It is to the known knowledge that the actor recently signed a project with ‘Mahanati’ fame Nag Ashwin, an interesting rumour hit the Film Nagar mongers. Sources have it that Prabhas will be paid a whopping remuneration of Rs 100 crores for the untitled project starring Deepika Padukone.
While the production house Vyjayanthi Movies bankrolling this project is yet to react to this rumours, Prabhas has beaten Tamil superstar Rajinikanth to become the highest-paid India actor. It can be noted that Rajinikanth was paid Rs. 70 crores for his recent film ‘Darbar’ which was the highest so far in India.
On the work front, Prabhas is currently busy shooting for ‘Radhe Shyam’ helmed by KK Radha Krishna Kumar. Pooja Hegde is playing his lady love while the film also stars Sachin Khedekar, Bhagyashree, Murali Sharma and Priyadarshi.
