Political strategist Prashant Kishor’s present political career is no less than a suspense thriller with interesting turns with each passing day. While the whole nation speculated that the former JD(U) vice-president would fall his own political party in Bihar, he announced a new campaign in the state ‘Baat Bihar Ki’ against the Nitish-led governance.
However, the campaign which is scheduled to start from March faced a hurdle even before flagging it. Shashwat Gautam, a young resident of Bihar filed a cheating case in Patna’s Pataliputra police station claiming that Prashant’s campaign, ‘Bihar ki Baat’, was his concept.
In a recent revelation, West Bengal media is rife with speculations that Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress nominated PK to Rajya Sabha. While the poll is scheduled on March 26, the buzz has it that the party cadre gave a nod to Didi’s proposal of offering one of the four TMC seats which will fall vacant in near future.
However, top sources revealed that Prashant Kishor has politely declined Didi’s Rajya Sabha offer. According to the sources, though PK agreed to support TMC he turned down Mamata’s offers owing to his ‘Baat Bihar ki’ commitments. It was learnt that PK is in a notion to stay away from any political party as such as he first wants to strengthen his base in Bihar.
