The principal did not allow a student wearing Ayyappamala to enter the school. This incident took place in the Manchiryal district. A student named Kalaveni Teja is studying tenth class at Singareni High School in Mandamarri. A few days ago, Teja wore Ayyappamala.
However, Sunder Rao, the principal of Singareni High School, did not allow Teja to enter the school because he was wearing the mala of the god Ayyappa Swami. After telling Teja’s parents, they came into the school and spoke to the principal.
As they were not allowed, the parents brought this matter to the attention of the Ayyappa temple committee members. So they went to school with local BJP leaders. He asked the headmaster Sundar Rao for an explanation.
The principal said that they will not allow those wearing Ayyappa mala in the classroom. Parents and BJP leaders demanded to know why the student was not allowed to wear Ayyappa mala. This led to an argument between the school staff and the student’s parents.
