Professor Hara Gopal accused Telangana Chief Minister KCR of completely neglecting the education sector. He said that after the formation of the new state, the education sector was completely neglected and KCR has been completely ignorant of the education sector due to the feudal ideology. He expressed anger that the educational institutions have become the places where poor children’s studies are being undermined.
Haragopal took part in the Teachers’ Mahadharna held at Indira Park under the auspices of the Teachers’ Struggle Committee, demanding immediate resolution of the problems of government teachers.
He went on to say that CM KCR, who went to Delhi, inspected the schools there and criticized the conditions and nothing more beyond that. Looking back at the history of the state after 50 years, the name of TRS will remain forever as the party that did great injustice to the education sector.
Hara Gopal further asked what the rulers who made education a business have achieved. “KCR, who allocated crores of rupees for Yadagiri Gutta, why not even a single rupee allocated for government schools,” he questioned. He said that if quality education is provided to the students, the country’s GDP will also increase.
Following that, he also suggested that the problems of government school teachers should be resolved to end the negligence.
