It is indeed a proud moment for Telugu people as it was Vinay, who has his roots at Pothireddypeta who headed the team that drafted the speech for Joe.
Vinay Reddy`s father Narayana Reddy, who migrated to the US in 1970. Though Vinay was born and brought up in the US, he and his family often visit the village with February 2020 being recent.
