Days after the unfortunate terror attack in Pulwama that took the lives of 40 CRPF jawans completed one year, National Investigation Agency(NIA) on Tuesday confirmed the arrest of a father-daughter duo for their alleged involvement in the Pulwama attack. Identified as Tariq Ahmed Shah and Insha Jan, the arrested duo has allegedly facilitated all the terrorists where the planning of the heinous attack took place.
It was also learnt that the video which was released by Jaish-e-Mohammad after the attack was also shot in the same house. This arrests came days after NIA took 22-year-old Shakir Bashir Magrey, a furniture shop owner into custody. It was revealed that the 23-year-old daughter played a crucial role in providing food and other logistics during the stay of JeM commandos.
While the forensic report stated that around 25 kg of plastic explosives were used, NIA could not file a charge sheet as all key suspects are dead. The key suspects Mudasir Ahmed Khan and Sajjad Bhat were reportedly killed in an encounter during the surgical strike. One of the NIA officials confronted that it has become difficult to establish the conspiracy as the technical evidence gathered in the case could not be corroborated as none of the suspects are alive.
