There is another controversy in Andhra Pradesh BJP. The leaders of their own party are engaged in a war of words against each other. MP GVL Narasimha Rao made harsh comments about NTR and YSR. They demanded that a district be named after Vangaveeti Ranga. He criticized the use of only the names of NTR and YSR. GVL commented that if TDP was in power, NTR’s name would be given, if YCP was in power, then YSR would be named.
Senior BJP leader Daggubati Purandheswari countered these comments. Twitter reacted strongly. Purandeshwari referred to GVL’s comments saying, ‘Are all these two names?’ One brought recognition to the Telugu race and provided real welfare to the poor.
At 2 rupees a kilo of rice, pucca houses, Janata cloths, and women’s university were provided to the people. Another tweeted that fee reimbursement, and 108 free ambulance services, were provided by Arogyashri. Another tweet said, ‘Not those two – those greats’.
Meanwhile, GVL indirectly addressed NTR and YSR saying that for a long time, the names of those two have been seen everywhere in the state. “Either that family or this family, are these two names everything? Will any other leaders appear?” he asked.
