The time has finally come Icon Star Allu Arjun fans as the movie directed by Sukumar finally hit the marque. The pan-Indian film is out in theaters today amidst high expectations and frenzy.
The story is set in the Seshachalam jungles of the Chittoor of the late 1990s. Hundreds of tonnes of red sanders logs are smuggled out of the country by a bunch of rogues guided by the insurmountable Pushpa Raj. Pushpa Raj (Allu Arjun) is a daily laborer working for a group headed by Konda Reddy, Jali Reddy and Jakka Reddy.
Pushpa grows in the ranks from a normal coolie to co-owner alongside Reddy bros. He then faces a bigger threat in Mangalam Srinu (Sunil). The story from here revolves around how Pushpa overcomes hurdles and emerges the kingpin smuggler don of red sandals. The love track with Sri Valli (Rashmika) and the emergence of the new threat Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat (Fahadh Faasil) form the overall story.
The film was bankrolled with high technical values as the director seemed to compromise nowhere. Love track with Rashmika, emotion scenes, and Allu Arjun performance can be taken as the plus points for the film. The Icon Star donned the role with never before look and a different characterization. Samantha’s special song stood as the added attraction for the film which was thoroughly enjoyed by the fans. Devi Sri Prasad’s superb songs hit the ball out of the park.
The slow narration seems to irk the viewers and the story complicated with too many characters in second half. The fight sequences between police and Pushparaj were cinematic. However, analysts feels that Sukumar didn’t give a proper end to the first part.
