Rain Alert for Telangana; YELLOW alert issued!
The Meteorological Department has already issued a warning that in the coming 5 days there shall be heavy rains with hailstones across the state of Telangana. According to the weather department alert, on Thursday and Friday there would be light to moderate rains. On 25th, 26th and on 27th March 2023, the region may experience rains with hailstones. As per latest update from the weather department, YELLOW alert has been issued for Friday and Saturday.
On Friday, the 24th March 2023, light to moderate rain fall is expected in eastern districts and in Hyderabad. The region may experience the rains with thunders, lightning, headwinds along with hailstones…in addition – headwinds speed may be in the range of 30 km to 40 km per hour, as per the latest update from the weather department.
The day temperatures may be higher and in the evenings rains are expected. In the eastern districts, there is a probability of heavy rain fall as per the weather department’s alert. The update continues to state that the weather is going to be very hot till afternoons and by the evening, the atmosphere would change with the onset of rains in the evenings.
Meanwhile, the ‘droni’ continues from the regions of Rayalaseema to Telangana and through Southern Jharkhand at a height of 1.5km from the sea level as per the meteorological department’s forecast. With the possibility of hailstones during the heavy rainfall, people are advised to take precautionary steps. Accordingly, the Telangana State Government also taking appropriate steps in the light of weather department alert.
