Jam-packed hall…all the Tamil Nadu media houses waiting for that one statement..however, everyone fizzled out as the press conference on Thursday ended with no clear statement.
2 years after declaring his political entry, Kollywood Superstar Rajinikanth on Thursday called for a press conference. With the speculations that he would drop crucial information over the launch of his political party, the conference ended with the aspiring politician stating that he wouldn’t take the Chief Minister throne.
Presenting a roadmap for politics in Tamil Nadu, Thalaiva emphasised on the political vacuum in the state. “I missed the chance of leading the state politics when I was 45. If I do it now, I would be called a fool. Age limit and education are crucial in politics,” he said. On this note, Rajini addressed the assembly election going to be held in 2021. He also reiterated that he would be the first person to raise voice even if a single Muslim was affected by the CAA.
However, Rajini refused to comment upon the launch of his own party, name and other details. RMM sources revealed that the cadre has already wrapped up 90 per cent of the works related to party launch. Meanwhile, Tamil media went rife with speculations that Rajini will go with a young, educated and passionate person for the CM candidature.
