In a series of shocks, Jana Sena’s only MLA Rapaka Varaprasad added another to his list voicing against his party’s high command. The Razole MLA on Saturday backed chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy’s proposal of three capitals in Andhra Pradesh. Speaking to the media after offering prayers to Lord Venkateswara in Tirupati, Rapaka welcomed Jagan and his team’s decision which came as a shocker to the JanaSena cadre which has been protesting in support of Amaravati farmers.
He then blamed the previous governments for developing only Hyderabad in united Andhra Pradesh. Appreciated Jagan’s proposal, Rapaka stated that the move has a scope to decentralise the development. “The previous government had snatched the lands from farmers for their political vendetta’s. I wish that this government would serve to farmers at least now. I extend my support to Jagan for a good cause,” he added. These statements made by Rapaka came close on the heels of the party chief Pawan Kalyan taking to rally and protests in Amaravati capital region.
