Hyderabad: The local court on Monday will hear the bail plea of TV9 Founder Ravi Prakash who was arrested earlier this month under dramatic circumstances. The senior journalist who was arrested with the false implicated case of allegedly diverting Rs 4 crore to his own account, is fathoming national support from the journalists. Many of the senior journalists across the country have condemned Ravi Prakash’s arrest taking social media as a platform. They have denounced the arrest accusing the police of turning the civil case into a criminal one just to defend and please My Home and Megha. ‘This is clearly a failed attempt to divert the media attention from the RTC strike,” stated one of the senior journalists. On this note, Ravi Prakash is likely to be remanded to police custody for four days. There has been a chaotic situation around the court promises from morning hours and the media caught the glimpse of certain senior lawyers who were rumoured to be deployed against Ravi Prakash.
