Vijayawada: In the wake of Sujana Chowdary’s statement that he would talk to BJP on behalf of TDP if interested to work together, it is now Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader G V L Narasimha Rao’s turn to bring back the same point. Addressing a press meet in Vijayawada on Saturday, G V L Narasimha Rao stated that he is ready to talk to BJP leadership if Chandrababu Naidu is ready for the alliance. He also made it clear that BJP didn’t need any tie-up with TDP as the regional party now has no credibility in the state. “I had been with TDP for many years and want to mediate out of that soft corner. How will our party grow if 10 leaders who lost the elections join us?” he added. This has taken significance after the TDP Supremo’s recent confrontation that spat with BJP is the main reason for their defeat in 2019 elections. GVL also said that Chandrababu is worried about his political future with the arrest of Chidambaram.
