Telangana CM KCR’s Delhi visit for the second time this month has grabbed the political circle’s attention. While the first visit went on for10 days, this time the TRS supremo scheduled his official visit for three-day. In a recent development, sources close to CMO confirmed that the CM is contemplating extending the visit for few more days.
CM KCR’s regular visit to Delhi and meeting with Union ministers have been triggering tensions in state BJP leaders amidst the speculations over the BJP-TRS alliance. However, this time it is learned that the real purpose behind the CM KCR Delhi tour is rice millers. The Center has recently stipulated that only the first-class rice grain should be procured, which should not exceed 60 lakh tonnes.
But the millers started to mount pressure on the government as there is a possibility of heavy grain production in Telangana. After which, all the millers across the state took the ruling TRS’ side with the involvement of ground-level influential leaders who have been supporting TRS financially. It can be noted that the miller association leaders already met with CM twice.
Coming to CM’s visit, KCR was learned to seek the appointments of union ministers to discuss changing the Centre’s decision to benefit millers and farmers.
