Despite the officials’ claims about various effective containment strategies, corona graph refused to slow down in Andhra Pradesh which has been standing as the third worst-hit state in the country.
However, seems like things are falling in place for the state while the health officials observed a dip in corona graph from the past few days.
According to the official health bulletin issued on Monday, the state recorded 6,780 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours. While 44,578 suspected people were tested for the coronavirus, 6,780 people tested positive on Monday.
On the other hand, 7,866 patients recovered from the viral infection while 82 fatalities were reported. The total number of cases stands at 2,96,609 including 84,777 active cases. 2,09,100 recovered cases and 2,732 deaths so far. However, the death rate remained the same.
It has been observed that the cases drastically reduced in AP which recorded not less than 10,000 cases from the past few days with high positivity rate. The number of recoveries as well increased.
