TPCC Chief Revanth Reddy has been quite critical of chief minister KCR’s tactics. Especially, in the last few months, Revanth has been quite bold with his allegations and criticism against the half-boiled welfare schemes and policies penned by the KCR regime. On one hand, there is a discussion on the remarks made by TRS MLA Abraham regarding the early elections, on the other hand, TPCC chief Rewanth Reddy dropped some sensational comments on the same. Abraham was recently quoted saying that KCR will dissolve the assembly in December and go for early elections in March. Speaking about this, aggravated Revanth Reddy said that the days are near for KCR. He made these remarks while participating in the Medchal constituency membership registration drive.
Revanth said that if Congress comes to power, the party workers will be the first priority. He urged the people to sign up for the memberships at the fullest in their respective constituencies. Revanth was seen saying that he will bring Sonia Gandhi to the kingdom of Telangana when he comes to power. He promised on implementing all the promised schemes. Also, assured that the houses and pensions would be given to the poor on time.
In addition, Revanth urged the people to not miss out on membership registration. He spoke about how important is each and every registration. He revealed that the Medchal Assembly constituency is currently in the second position in terms of membership registration. He said that the active membership of the Congress in Telangana has reached 40 lakhs.
Talking further about the registration drive, Revanth revealed that he promised the party president Sonia Gandhi that he can assure 30 lakh members, but with the efforts of everyone in the party, 40 lakh members had already been registered. He added that he aims to gain 50 lakh active memberships and prove to Sonia Gandhi that Telangana is supporting congress at its best. Revanth assured the party workers of recognition from superiors and benefits after winning the elections. He said that the real heroes in Congress are the activists, and everyone who worked for the welfare of the party will definitely get their due respect.
