It has been two days since Chinnajiyar Swamy has become the hot topic in Telangana state. People of the state are demanding to oust the spiritual personality from the state. There has been a unanimous revolt against his comments on Hindu beliefs. To this whole issue, TPCC chief Revanth Reddy responded in a sharp manner. His comments were mostly directed at the Chief Minister KCR about the history and culture of Telangana.
The Telangana government is ambitiously rebuilding the Yadadri temple. The Chinnajyar Swamy is currently appointed as the Primary advisor of the temple. Revanth Reddy questioned KCR on Twitter regarding Chinnajiyra’s position at the Yadadri temple.
Revanth’s tweet states:

“KCR should immediately remove Tridandi Chinjiyar from the post of Yadagirigutta Primary Adviser for insulting Sammakka Saralammala, a symbol of Telangana’s heritage and culture, and take legal action for attacking our devotional beliefs”.
Tribal leaders have also complained to police stations that Chinjiyar’s remarks on forest deities Sammakka and Saralammala are an insult to Telangana culture. The effigies of Chinnajiyar are also being burned across the state. Protests continue, demanding an apology from Chinnajiyar.
