A series of stories regarding illegal land acquisitions are taking all forms of media by storm. There are literally a plethora of cases where the political leaders are redhandedly caught. While actions were taken on some of them, many of them managed to get away with their activities under the influence of power. TPCC chief Rewanth Reddy has demanded action against TRS ministers, MLAs, and MPs in Greater Hyderabad.
Demanding an immediate investigation into this, he wrote an open letter to KTR. He even went a step ahead attaching the evidence regarding illegal constructions to the letter. In this letter, he explained how TRS leaders occupied government lands and ponds and started construction in these areas.
Revanth stated that no action was taken except for the occasional commotion by the authorities. KTR questioned the reckless behavior of the TRS leaders and government acting blind to the activities of the politicians. He asked about why no action was taken against them, and if KTR also has a share in the profits earned. Getting into details, Revanth said that the relatives of Minister Mallareddy in Survey No. 488 in Jawahar Nagar are proceeding with a series of illegal constructions. A hospital was also built there and started by another minister. He mentioned Firzadiguda, where TRS leaders occupied a government land and built a function hall.
The TPCC Chief also reminded that KTR’s own family is exploiting the temple lands in Devarayanjal S.No 437, and running newspapers and magazines from there. He went into the details of all the land acquisitions that had happened in recent years, quoted the irregularities, and demanded immediate action to demolish the illegal structures. Revanth warned that if the government fails to take any action, he will lead a separate operation on behalf of Congress.
