TPCC chief Revanth Reddy has stood by the candidates as they continue to protest against the age limit for police jobs. The CM wrote an open letter questioning KCR. The letter demanded the extension of the age limit in the recruitment of police jobs.
Revanth Reddy said 17,000 jobs had been notified in the recent recruitment drive, which included a large number of constable posts, but the age limit relaxation was only three years. As a result, 4 lakh applicants are at a disadvantage.
He said the youth struggle in the Telangana movement was unforgettable and demanded that they be given an age limit of 5 years. Revanth added that while the youth of Telangana are struggling for jobs, it is quite mysterious to not know the whereabouts of the Home Minister. He alleged KCR of not bothering about anything, but simply relaxing in the farmhouse.
He said the age limit for police recruitment should be increased by another two years as notifications have not been given to those who have been waiting for jobs for eight years. Revanth bashed the CM, adding that no one cares about the unemployed youth of the state, expressing angst against KCR’s sense of absence. Revanth clarified that the age limit should be given as per the wishes of the candidates, otherwise the Congress party will enter the field and take direct action.
