Hyderabad: Malkajgiri MP Revanth Reddy has met TV9 founder Ravi Prakash at Chanchalguda jail on Monday. Revanth Reddy has reportedly inquired Ravi Prakash about the circumstances that led to his arrest in the brief talk during the Mulakat at the central jail. He then addressed the media lashing out on the ruling party for curbing the freedom of media and exploiting the power. He then stated that it was high time that media should come forth with a national level protest to fight against the atrocities of government. “It is the responsibility of the chief minister to hold accountable. They have cleverly snubbed the court orders and had illegally dug up the old cases against Ravi Prakash,” said Revanth. He also affirmed that this move is an assault on journalism and called on to all the journalists to stand together condemning this arrest.
