TPCC Chief Revanth Reddy said that Congress would come to power in Telangana for sure, and once that happens, the flag of congress will be hoisted at the top of Golconda fort. He bashed KCR for appeasing people on promising jobs to the unemployed before coming to power. Revanth was incensed that their well-being and aspirations had been completely forgotten. Revanth promised on giving two lakh jobs as a gift to the unemployed as soon as they came to power. He participated in the Gandhi Bhavan unemployment initiation where he criticized KCR’s negligent attitude on unemployment.
He reminded that Indira Gandhi had protected the rights of the unemployed in Telangana. He demanded the one lakh ninety thousand jobs that were promised by KCR in the Biswal Committee which are still vacant. Revanth said that it has been 8 years since KCR made these pompous promises in the assembly. Many experts are already passing satires on KCR stating that the people who got jobs in his regime are just his family and nobody else.
Speaking about his tenure in the Congress party, Chinnareddy said that if he successfully becomes an MLA, he will make sure that those who fought in the Youth Congress would get tickets first. Revanth called on the activists and party fraternity to work hard, adding that he preferred being the President of the Youth Congress rather than the President of the Congress.
Revanth also mocked that TRS has come in the middle and started claiming the ownership of Telangana. He also expressed concern stating that KCR is creating quite a havoc within the lives of the youth. He concluded that KCR is now incapable of fighting and that is why he brought PK into the picture.
