While there is a discussion in the state on the possibility of early elections, KCR made it clear that there won’t be early elections in the state this time. On the other hand, TPCC chief Revanth Reddy firmly confirmed the victory of Congress in the coming elections. Addressing at Mana Ooru-Mana Poru program in Nagar Kurnool District Kolhapur, he questioned the Kolhapur MLA if he had achieved anything at all by changing the party. He said that justice has not been done to the Srisailam flood victims yet, adding that the right compensation and jobs have not been given yet. He said Congress has the power to change the dynamics of development in the state.
“Has Palamuru changed at all in these 8 years under KCR’s regime? Valmiki and Boya were cheated by the CM on fake promises. He won two times, was in office for 8 years, and hadn’t delivered at least a single promise that was made. The compensation offered to Mallannasagar victims must be offered to other victims,” said Revanth. He said that it was Congress that created the separate state of Telangana, adding that Congress saved the state. He said he would tour all the constituencies in the state and hoist the Congress flag.
Revanth expressed concerns over appointing Prashant Kishore to oversee the election campaigns and bashed his tactics. Revanth slammed the double standards of KCR on talking about being healthy but sharing the pictures of hospitals and videos at the same time to gain sympathy from people. He announced that the KCR government will be dissolved in December, and assembly elections will be held next March. Revanth declared that he will work on developing Palamuru and offering over 2 lakh jobs to the unemployed.
Revanth recalled that 30 km of the SLBC tunnel was completed during the Congress regime. Meanwhile, said that the same TRS government was not even able to dig even 10 km of the tunnel for 8 years. He opined that KCR not only cheated Valmiki, Boya but also Mudiraj, and Bestala.
