Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s comments on the process of Telangana state formation had caused quite a controversy in Telangana state. Leaders from all the political parties are expressing concerns about the center. Especially, TPCC president Revanth Reddy has criticized the whole family of KCR, calling them slaves to PM Modi. He accused them of weakness, incompetency in power, and lack of responsibility. Revanth stated that Modi has degraded the reputation of Telangana in the worst way possible, and TRS leaders should have at least played a little bit of defense in this matter. None of the TRS leaders raised an objection, nor walked away in support of those who did, this left Revanth aggravated.
Furious Revanth posed a number of questions to the Chief Minister KCR on why he is being silent when the PM has been making such sensational comments against the state formation event. Revanth also questioned what has KCR done so far after saying that he is declaring a war against the center, and considering the kind of words he said earlier, why is he not even responding to the PM’s comments in Parliament. Political pundits also questioned CM KCR’s family not being present at the protests carried out throughout the state. Revanth openly asked KCR why he didn’t come to the effigy burning protests against the PM. He satirically said that TRS members are all dressed up in style at the protests, having no serious motives or concerns.
Talking about the behavior of the police in the state, Revanth mentioned that they are committing illegal detentions, not even sparing those leaders who are protesting peacefully from home. He urged people to not let TRS get back to power, adding that the democracy can withstand in Telangana only if TRS is defeated. Revanth demanded an immediate unconditional apology from PM Modi, adding that he will not let the PM into the state until he does so. He also demanded a reply from KCR regarding the same.
