TPCC chief Revanth Reddy, who has been constantly on fire against the TRS government, once again targeted KCR and asked a barrage of questions. He shared a series of posts on Twitter in response to various issues and incensed the government.
Revanth said that the state treasury went bankrupt during the KCR misrule. He questioned the whereabouts of the millions of crores of rupees being collected by the people through debts, sale of land, increase in petrol and diesel prices through VAT, increase in current and land registration charges, increase in bus fares, and sale of liquor.
Revanth demanded the Telangana CMO stop the political maneuvers. He stated that small-time employees like Home guards must be paid their salaries for the May month on an immediate basis. He demanded the release of May salaries to Model Schools staff. He clarified that if not, Congress will be active in favor of the respective factions leading the protests against the government.
Responding to the farmer’s concerns, he said that they haven’t been paid for the grain sold in Rabi. Revanth alleged that there is no insurance for the monsoon crop, and farmers are left to be preyed on by the moneylenders, while the state government is blindly focusing on forming BRS. He warned that the farmers will be ready to wage a war against the TRS regime if funds were not released within three days.
