They fought for their legit demands. While a few lost their lives, a few suffered lifetime injuries in the protests and agitations. However, the TSRTC employees yielded to the government which didn’t come down even after repeated appeals from the High Court and employee unions. Ending their 52 days of the indefinite strike, the employees joined back their duties. In no time, KCR who stood as a tough nut to crack, declining a series of urges from employees and High court, has now come down with a roll of sops and assurances on the TSRTC employees. Even after their fight ended, seems like things are not smooth for the employees with the alleged pressures from the authorities.
Employees now turned into scapegoats struck between the authorities and unions. Employee unions which play a crucial role in voicing against the atrocities employees have now become the new headache for the employees. KCR who already tasted the unity of the employees and the support from unions is reportedly on revenge track on employees who completely went into the grip of union leaders during the strike. After which he is said take some stringent decisions to end the unions play. Upon which the RTC authorities are moving pawns to snip the unions. The authorities are reportedly collecting the signatures from the employees on the note which claims against the union elections. A few of the employees stated that the authorities are threatening them to sign on the not, while a few confronted that they signed out of the fear of getting over duties. on the other hand, union leaders hit back this stating it to be against the labour rights.
