The most-awaited moment has finally come. Team ‘RRR’ a.k.a Roudram Ranam Rudhiram (RRR) on Friday released the first look poster of Ram Charan as freedom fighter Alluri Sitarama Raju.
In what can be said as a perfect gift to fans and cinephiles on the birthday of Ram Charan, the first look poster served no less than a feast to the ‘Mega’ fans.
The actor in the poster is seen aiming at the sky with a bow and arrow against a forest background which is set on fire. While Ram Charan is dressed in a saffron dhoti, his toned physic matched with the fierce character the actor is playing in Rajamouli’s magnum opus.
“Bravery, honour and integrity. A man who defined it all! It’s my privilege to take on the role of #AlluriSitaRamaraju,” tweeted the actor sharing the poster as the fans went gaga in the comments section.
Set in 1920s India, the screenplay of RRR has been penned by director SS Rajamouli along with his father KV Vijayendra Prasad. The movie reportedly narrates the fictional plotline imagining the two freedom fighter Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem crossing their paths.
Apart from Ram Charan and Jr NTR, RRR also marks the Tollywood debut of Bollywood stars like Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn. The movie which is bankrolled by DVV Entertainments is announced to hit the marquee on 13th October this year.
