Hyderabad: After trying every possible thing from meetings, negotiations and 25 days of the indefinite strike, the RTC employees have finally decided to hit on KCR’s weakness. To make sure that no stone is left unturned, a few of the RTC union leaders met Srimannarayana Chinna Jeeyar Swamy in his ashram in Muchintal. Urging the Swamiji to talk to KCR to come down and meet their demands, the union leaders also submitted a memorandum to Swamiji. It is a known fact that KCR is an ardent follower of Jeeyar Swamiji and also has attended the Thirunakshatrotsavam ceremony organised on the occasion of Swamiji’s birthday.
A while ago CM KCR announced that his government would dismantle the revenue department a step closer to digitalisation. This got a lot of resistance from the low-scale employees who went for a strike which didn’t move the government. However, the department heads met with Jeeyar Swamiji who reportedly assured them that he would talk with KCR. After which KCR took back his decision regarding the revenue department.
