As anticipated from the morning hours of Tuesday since the emergency meeting by the union leaders it was officially announced that the RTC JAC called off the indefinite strike being held from 52 days. The members of RTC JAC has officially released a press note stating that the members of the including the employees have decided to end the indefinite strike called on to meet their demands. In the press release, the association stated that the employees are all set to join their duties from Wednesday morning 6 AM and instructed the temporary employees to act accordingly.
Speaking on this, Aswathdhama Reddy, one of the union leaders claimed this as a moral victory of the employees who fought bravely. He said that the main reason behind them calling off the strike is the well-being of employees who struggled for 52 days. Taking to the media, the leaders have stated that they ended the strike but will not stop to fight for their demands. On this note, the employees urged the government to support them and create a peaceful environment in the deports across the state. The JAC leaders have thanked all the political parties, leaders and police personnel who supported their strike.
