Further adding fuel to the Dubbaka humiliation, BJP from the past few days has been holding a volley of meetings with Telangana’s crucial leaders welcoming them into the party. In a recent jolt to TRS, reports claiming that RTC JAC leader, TRS party affiliate TMU general secretary Ashwathama Reddy would join BJP party have been making some serious rounds in state political circles.
Adding strength to the rumours, Ashwathama who played a pivotal role in RTC indefinite strike held crucial talks with BJP state leaders. Confirming that the talks would lead to the former joining BJP, RTC JAC sources revealed that the leader is furious over the KCR-led state government’s decisions and policies excluding the inputs from JAC unions.
Sources also have it that the JAC leader is in talks with BJP leaders ever since the strike ended and is waiting for the perfect time to join the national party which is now basking in the victory in Dubbaka polls. Propaganda that the ruling party is trying to bring differences in TMU after the strike and TRS leaders trying to personally target Ashawathama has reportedly pushed the leader to hold talks with BJP leaders.
According to the political analysts, if these speculations over the JAC leader are believed to be true, BJP will have an added support from the RTC cadre in the Greater limits.
