While the authorities of Apollo officially announced that Sai Dharam Tej who recently met with a bike accident is on the recovery track and will be discharged anytime soon. It is to the known knowledge that the actor met with an accident while he was driving back home from the opening ceremony of a shop. He has been booked for rash driving by the Cyberabad police.
However, preliminary investigation revealed that the spot where Sai Dharam slipped with his bike was covered with sand out of the construction by the road. It was alleged that the company ignored cleaning up the sand residues after the day’s work. Social media flooded with posts criticizing GHMC over turning a blind eye towards the negligent construction companies.
In a recent development, GHMC imposed a hefty fine on Aurobindo Construction Company, which was constructing a building under Khanamet. A fine of Rs 1 lakh was imposed under the Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Act for leaving sand waste on the road without the permission of the concerned authorities.
However, GHMC Deputy Commissioner N Sudhanshu said that the construction company responsible for Sai Dharam Tej’s accident and the company sued are not the same.
