Ending the 8-year-long relation with the most-happening reality show in India, Salman Khan who has been hosting the show since the fourth season called quits with Big Boss. The Bollywood Super Star has already been hosting the thirteenth season and has decided to step back owing to his health conditions.
Salman was reportedly suffering from Trigeminal Neuralgia, a chronic pain condition which gives a sudden jolt of pain from face to the brain. According to the sources, Salman has recovered from the health condition but was suggested to stay calm. “Every week, one or the other contestant in the house is getting on to Salman’s nerves, which is not good for his health. Hence, this is certainly the last season of the show that he will be hosting,” said one of the trusted friends of Salman.
While the last day of Salman is yet to be known, the team revealed that the actor would celebrate his birthday on the sets which fall on December 27. Talking about his quits with the reality show, Salman said, “a part of mine wants to cut that part and throw it out and the other part wants to keep it. But it couldn’t take the stress.” Before the fans and followers of Big Boss keep anticipating for the next host, the show organisers have announced Filmmaker-show host Farah Khan will carry on the legacy. Known for her wit and charm, Farah Khan has already hosted a number of television shows which carried good TRPs.
