Tolivelugu Crime Bureau: One can say that Telangana State Mineral Development Corporation’s business is growing exponentially at an astounding pace. The government keeps proclaiming about increasing the revenue from a mere Rs 500 crores to the sum of Rs 3000 crores, when in fact the actual revenue is way more than Rs 10,000 crores of which the remaining approximately Rs 7,000 crores is exploited through money laundering. It is believed that all this money is heading towards the pockets of TRS leaders alone. The corporation, which has to run without any irregularities anywhere, has become a haven for corruption and irregularities.
The Tolivelugu Crime Bureau has already put 5 special articles in front of the public on this sand mafia affair. Now there is no answer to the decisions taken calling for the rights of the tribals. The agreements are never investigated, and there is no one to question the authenticity of the numbers in the reports. On top of this, the MLAs and MLCs of the TRS party are providing political support to the mafia gangs in exchange for thousands of crores of black money.

In the joint Andhra Pradesh, senior IAS officers like SS Rawat, while in the newly-formed state of Telangana, officers like Lokesh Kumar and Elambarthi worked to put breaks to the informal activities also keeping an eye on controlling the problems that could cause problems to the government revenue. With this, Mansoor, who studied for a veterinary degree, got a job in the Co-operation Department, came on deputation to the Irrigation Department, and became the Project Director for the Strategic Development Corporation, the deposition that is generally held by the IAS and IFS officers. Mansoor had spent Rs 4444 crore on the Nagarjuna Sagar, the money that was taken as a loan from the World Bank as a part of the strategic plan. The IAS officers themselves allege that the posting of Mansoor was done in an illegal manner. Going to his office, one can clearly understand that TSMDC has become a platform for MD Mansoor through which he is making tons of money.
The general managers were the ones who kept the irregularities at bay. Rajasekhar Reddy was transferred for partying in hotels with the sand mafia along and other aspects of immoral behavior. Although Raja Reddy came from the cooperation department, he ignored the irregularities of MD in order to avoid unnecessary problems for himself. Sheri Subhash Reddy, who is the chairman of TSMDC, has been transferred on charges of being extremely close to MD and making crores of rupees as well. There are criticisms that Mansoor nurtured the sand mafia from the ground level in this area, becoming a more powerful person than the chairman himself. No matter who comes there as chairman, the leaders of the ruling party knows the depths of power Mansoor has in this area. With everything being led by MD, the situation is such that the employees whisper that even Sreesanth, who is now the chairman barely has any power in front of MD.
